A Terrace Homes home is a design-build home, meaning that a majority of the construction happens indoors.
The traditional building methods most familiar to us, those of a stick-built home constructed outdoors, have remained unchanged throughout the years, despite the numerous challenges and obstacles it presents builders with. And those obstacles become heightened in our ever-changing Wisconsin weather conditions.
Terrace Homes recognized the challenges of traditional on-site building early on in our career. Beginning in 1975, we set out to discover a better way and began incorporating the innovative building process we still use today.
A Terrace Home is a design-build home, meaning that a majority of the construction happens indoors. Constructed in our 100,000 square foot modern factory, your home comes together in a controlled environment, allowing the materials to stay dry and protected.
We then deliver your home to the build site in pre-assembled sections, and the outdoor assembly phase happens quickly from there.
Our modular building method reduces material waste, reduces material issues, and reduces time delays that are due to weather conditions and other variables. It is, ultimately, a more predictable, affordable, and smarter way to build.
